6th Grade Healthy Habit Challenge March 15-April 19 2011

6th Graders.

Respond to each question the best you can for the CBL Healthy Habit Challenge.

1.Describe what your habit looked like at the beginning of the challenge?



2.Explain something new you learned about your topic in your research?

1. It looked pretty bad at first, my heathy habit was getting exersise and going out more!

2.If you get to much exersise you will hurt or be tired.

3.Pretty good,when it's nice outside then my family will go and play!

1. My habit looked unchanging. I thought we would never improve.

2. I learned how much time we watched T.V. before we (my family) started the challenge.

3. My challenge is going fairly well. My two only difficulties are my stubborn brother and my family accepting change and going outside.

1.It was ok but getting better.
2.that eating a little junk food is still healthy in moderation.
3.its going good everybody is out and doing something.

1)It looked very bad. We were drinking 7 pops a day.

2) Pop has a lot of sugar we don't look at the grams of sugar of every pop we drink.

3) It is going good so far.It is going good because we don't drink as much pop as we did.

1. In the begining we were eating to much chocolate

2.I learned that if u eat to much chocolate u might get overweight

3. My challenge is going good because we r eating more vegies

1. At the beginning my brother and I would watch TV 4 to 7 hours a day. Now we watch 1 to 2 hours.
2. Most children who watch TV over 4 hours end up obese.
3. It is going great we read more, watch less TV, and we are outside more frequently then we did of course it is now nicer outside. :) I am also a lot happier, because I use to be unhappy if I watched TV.

1. At the beginning of my challenge me and my mom would not play out side as long as we do now. And my brother and my dad already went to the gym and practiced wrestling.

2. Something new I learned was that my family became closer as a family when we all get along and get more healhy and eat more healthier.

3.My challenge is going really good because me and my mom are playing more basket ball together and my dad and brother have been going to the gym a lot together. We use to only get outside and in the gym only 2days a week and now we are getting out 4days a week.

Savannah,Andrea, Deven, Sidney, Brett,Kadra, and Sabrina Thanks for posting and it sounds like you are making good progress on your challenge. Remember it ends April 19, 2011 and you need to start thinking about what you will do for your presentation to the class!

1.It was just my mom and i.

2.You need an 8 8oz glasses of water a day.

3.It's good my dad and sister joined in and we are drinking more then ever.
